CHARACTER INFORMATION
NAME: Scott McCall
CANON: Teen Wolf
AGE: 18 (aged up from 17 by a few months). Scott will be aged up to 18, and he is eighteen by time season 5a finishes. However, because of the timeline and his birthday falling within the range of fall, Scott will not yet be eighteen. That said, Scott has been through a lot, being turned into a werewolf at the age of sixteen, and eventually having to take on the responsibility of being the alpha to both werewolves and non-werewolves alike in a dangerous atmosphere, and he influences other alphas to take on a better, less destructive stance, which shows his maturity and willingness to stand up for what's right. Simply put: Scott has been through a lot, and he definitely is mature and capable enough to handle Eudio. He carries a lot on his shoulders as an alpha, and he's a special kind of alpha, called a "true alpha," which means he's someone whose strength of character has led to that particular role and identity. He has a strict moral code where he won't kill (though he has threatened it on a number of occasions, and has even been forced into it once or twice).
CANON POINT: The end of season four.
BACKGROUND: Scott at fan wiki | Teen Wolf at Wikipedia.
INCENTIVE: Scott's incentive will be to bring back three lives that have been lost: Boyd, Erica, and Allison. The loss of these lives has been something that's held over both Scott (and Derek's) heads for a while, and Allison's lost is also hard on a lot of other people. Stiles blames himself for it, Lydia hadn't been able to save her despite being the one who can sense death, and so forth. Scott wouldn't think twice about coming to Eudio to reverse these deaths, and he would be keen on the consent-based mindset of the city.
FIT: In terms of sexuality, Scott has been sexually active since he was sixteen. He and girlfriend Allison didn't start having sex right away because of his lack of control in terms of growing long nails and getting overwhelmed, but in time, he gained control over his werewolf side, and Scott's mother finds a box of condoms in his room that's been largely used, showing that both Scott and Allison had been having sex for a while (in secret). Both Allison and Scott are shown to vocally consider each other's needs during sex, and that continues with Scott's next girlfriend. As a deeply thoughtful and considerate person, Scott does care about someone else's needs, and would put consent on a high list of priorities.
In addition, Scott has also had to deal with his life changing against his will. When he was bitten by Peter Hale, he had no choice in the matter, and Peter also attempted to mind control him and force him to see things a certain way. He tried to make Scott kill his friends, and Scott just barely keeps himself from doing this. Choice is a big thing for Scott after that, especially as he tends to run outside of the "norm" for werewolves. He isn't deeply paranoid, and he eventually comes to see his gift as a means of protecting others instead of asserting power. He inspires other werewolves to see their powers differently (and he's a continued thorn in Peter's side because of his mindset). Scott is a very independent character and it shows throughout the series, especially as he develops from a seemingly selfish teenage boy who's in love with a girl to someone who believes that he has to do everything in his power to help people. One of his biggest arcs in season two involves him going head to head with Derek while Derek influences troubled teenagers to take the bite, because Scott doesn't believe Derek is giving them all the information that's necessary. He's big on informed consent, though he has given the bite once on accident in order to save someone's life (and he's embraced the consequences of that as much as possible).
As an alpha, he doesn't give out the bite freely, and he does everything possible to be good to the people in his pack. He doesn't use any of the negative, mind controlling abilities, instead focusing on the healing properties of his touch (he can draw away pain from people), and doing what he can to help people come to understand the strength to protect. He does have a howl that can calm his betas, but he only comes to use it in a moment of dire stress, as he needs to help Malia return to her original shape. Later, he only uses it to help calm his betas, as he doesn't want to influence anyone against their will.

ANYTHING ELSE?
Scott has the capacity to give bites to turn people into werewolves, and he can also use alpha abilities to influence others. While I would like him to keep his calming howl to use when there's an agreement with his betas (Isaac and whoever else may be apped), I am cool with all the rest of the capacity to use mind control or give the bite to be taken away. Scott would never ever have a use for those, anyway. Other than that, Scott is an alpha werewolf with increased speed, strength, and senses. With betas, he is even stronger, and he has a slight form shift with red eyes. In addition, he can sense emotion, and draw away pain from someone, sucking it into himself.
Per revisions and because the city offers control to all werewolves, Scott will not have the ability to utilize his calming howl. His howl is still audible to all people in his pack, though they are not compelled to follow it.
