You said you play lacrosse? What position are you?

Do you know about lacrosse? A lot of people from outside of my town usually don't. [As evidenced by the number of times he's had to teach people about it.]

Anyway, I'm an Attacker. Which sounds a lot more fierce than it actually is.

Not that I'm not fierce on the field. I can be fierce.

i'm not exactly an expert, but my brother played back home in texas, so i've been to games and i know the basics.

he was a mid-fielder. it's not as exciting, but i always liked watching.

i'm sure you were extremely intimidating on field. you must have been really fast anyway.

Fast is actually an understatement.

Though this one guy this year showed up. He's a transfer from another school. He was the best I ever saw at the sport. He could do just about anything, too—goalie, attacking, ANYTHING.

I kind of wish he was here, actually. I'd like to get a game going here, but he'd be better at telling everyone about it.

[Plus, Scott thinks it would be good for Liam to teach people about lacrosse and come into his own at the same time. It sounds like a good idea in his head.]

that would be really great, actually. getting some sort of game together here.

not that i'd be able to play or anything, but sports was such a big part of life back home, and i haven't been here very long, but it doesn't seem like they've got anything really set up. not even football or baseball, and those seem so obvious.

Yeah! I think it's because people are coming and going a lot. Apparently I've been here before, but I don't really remember it.

But if it's on a recreational level, no one's got to worry about being overly responsible with it. You show up when you want to have fun!

I think you could play if you wanted! Unless you just prefer watching. That's cool too.

somebody would have to give me a rundown on how to play, really. i've watched my brother, and i know the basics, but not enough to run out on the field myself.

i should probably just leave the playing to people who know what they're doing.
